More About Hollybrook Marketing

After reading our history, some people may be tempted to think, "those were the days," but in reality, nothing has changed at all. All elements of a job application remain pretty much the same:

  • See job position advertised
  • Send off Résumé and Job Cover Letter to apply for the job
  • Hope you get an interview, and finally
  • Hope you get the job.

Nothing has changed - except for the way we need to do things. Modern technology has come along in leaps and bounds, and at such a breathtaking pace, too. No longer do we have to mail everything via the Postal Service. A lot of things we can now do online via email and send attachments back and forth. However, the four-part process is the same no matter how you do it.

All too sadly though, the quality of the job application has remained the same also. They are still pretty poor or just fair, to say the least. People still do not understand how to apply for a job properly - and through no fault of their own. If a guy is an engineering assistant down at the local foundry, you just cannot expect him to be able to put together an impressive job cover letter. And this will always be the case in the future. This is why we need each other's help here and there.

Hollybrook Marketing have never falsified a job application - cover letter or résumé - just to get the client an interview. It is not fair to the client, nor to the company he is applying to. Nor do we advocate that anyone lies or falsifies a job cover letter or résumé. It is just not worth it. And you WILL be found out!

As you can see, Hollybrook Marketing has a lot of experience in helping people with their Job Applications, Job Cover Letters and other documentation required when looking to change your job. Not every job application is going to be the same, but if you follow the fundamentals shown in our guide: How To Write A Job Cover Letter, you will enhance your chances of getting that all elusive interview.

As an employer, I read through this guide and was pleasantly surprised at how accurate it is. It covers absolutley everything I look for when selecting applicants for interviewing. This guide can certainly help those who have trouble writing job cover letters.

Your guide was absolutely amazing. I thought I knew everything I needed to know about writing a cover letter. But your guide opened my eyes to things I never would have thought of writing. I am not looking right now, but I am sure I will have more interviews in the future.
